J D Charters fishes from the port of Saugatuck, Michigan. Our boat, the J D Lady is docked in slip #345 at Tower Marina. Located on the Kalamazoo River, the Saugatuck and Douglas area has much to offer the visiting fisherman and tourist. With world class beaches and quaint shops, as well as one of the most productive salmon and trout fishing ports on southern Lake Michigan, we know your trip with us will be a memorable experience for the entire family.


At JD Charters, we welcome anglers of all experience levels. For the beginners, our Captain has the experience and patience to ensure that “fish of a lifetime.” For the seasoned anglers, we will offer as much hands-on participation as preferred.
