perch fishing Holland and Saugatuck
Just a quick update on the fishing from our Ports of Saugatuck and Holland. I was out this holiday weekend looking for perch and found some action in 70 FOW. Fishing was not the best, with lots of goby bait stealers, but as the stormy weather of early spring subsides, I expect the perch fishing to improve dramatically in our area. Recently I recovered my old fishing pole that I had forgotten about for decades. I guess I got to busy as the years went by to take the time to relax by the stream and remember those early mornings with papa. I did not realize it then but, there was a lot of wisdom shared in those mornings.
